QUESTION POSED ON: 16 February 2006
How do I stop NUll Sessions in Win2000? I read in an article your wrote: For Windows 2000 systems, you can use RestrictAnonymous=2 in the registry or set the "Additional restrictions for anonymous connections" in the Windows security policy to "No access without explicit anonymous permissions."

This is not working for me. Is there something I am missing?

That is the solution unless there's something else overriding your local settings. Can you still connect to IPC$ on your system(s)? If so, check your local, OU, and domain policies to make sure there's no conflict being created. Where there's a conflict, local policies will be assigned a lower priority than your AD policies and thus will be overridden.
