I am using XP Professional on my PC, and I have forgotten the administrative password. Is there any third-party tool that I can use to reset my password without reloading the OS?

There is, although one way you can avoid having to do this is by doing a recovery install. If you don't want to do that, you can use the tools at the Winternals site to perform password recovery and reset.
